Maybe he meant to say..
That there are to many things pointing in the direction of MS in this case to just melt away. Now that suspicions have risen there could be trouble ahead for MS even if SCO goes belly up and maybe even more so if SCO goes belly up.

People will want to know if MS was involved indirectly in pointing BayStar to SCO and if so....if MS had anything to do with BayStar wanting to bail out now.

If and I agree it is still a big if...MS realy pulled some strings here they might be in real danger here. If it can be shown they wanted to use SCO to keep Linux from snatching market share and now want out because to much seems to point in their direction..... I think there might be serious backlash for MS.

Again it's a big if.. I think MS is smart enough to cover their tracks, altough lately it seems MS arogance has taken such height that they seem to think nothing will be able to touch them, not even when their questionable conduct is in plain sight. They just might have been careless in this case. If so we're heading for interesting times.
