FSX - "gamers"? NOT!
Flight Simulator X is nice for flight enthusiasts and bored office workers. Do not, however, confuse them with "gamers."

The top ten list for current games (according to GameSpot):
-Medieval 2: Total War
-World of Warcraft
-Neverwinter Nights 2
-EverQuest II
-Need for Speed Carbon
-Company of Heroes
-The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth II, The Rise of the Witch-King
-The Sims 2
-The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
-Dark Messiah of Might and Magic

I checked the future games and a couple of other top ten lists as well, and Flight Simulator X doesn't make it as "most important" anywhere.

Sorry to break your bubble, but you don't know any gamers. Just some Flight Simulator enthusiasts.

But you're right - Vista Ultimate is overpriced, and XP was a pain for the hardware enthusiast. I have to agree with that.
