No idea patents
No one should be able to patent an idea and then sit around waiting for someone else to step into their trap (even if it is a thouroughly deserving entity like MS). Software and business process patents do not protect the little guy. They protect monopolists, and idea monopolies are the worst form of monopoly.

Write your congress folks before someone patents that thought.
