1. To provide a controlled environment which translates into a
complete user experience. They also have a reputation for the
creation of very cool and well-made products.
2. People like you have been saying Apple is doomed for years
and yet Apple is still with us, growing, very healthy finacially,
and have a very bright future ahead creating products people
desire, if given the choice. Something I'm sure Michael Dell is
envious of . . . at least he was when he wanted in on OS X.
3. Apple ITMS is run on . . . oh just read the explanation already
