Always a pleasure to be here. I'd like to take this time to explain why your post doesn't hold truth.

First you say linux had these features for a long time. Linux has built in diagnostics? No they don't. It had an Aero like interface for a long time? No it didn't. A couple of linux fanboys got scared poopless about Aero and what it brings to Windows and how home PC users would love it. So like everything in linux they had to copy it. It wasn't until Microsoft announced Aero that linux even had thought about doing a GUI like it. Any implementation that linux makes (or copies to more accurately describe it) is always a poor implementation that gets phased out after a year. That in no way makes it superior or work flawlessly. This is why people are not purchasing, downloading, or installing linux like you suggest.

As for OS X, yes they had the pretty GUI first and there is no denying that. The rest of the system i couldn't tell you about.

I'm glad I can clear up these misconceptions for you and hope you realized your mistake of giving out false information. I forgive you for being a linux user as you guys usually are not up to par on the latest news or technology and basically really don't know much about the IT industry.
