Let's take these one at a time:

Congress: attempts to make DRM mandatory in all technology
have failed so far. Well, I guess there's the "broadcast flag" but I
don't think recorders react to it yet.

Courts: Please show me where the courts have decided that
DRM is unbreakable. Haven't they passed laws because DRM is
so easily breakable?

Every major OEM: Isn't Apple a major OEM? What other OEMs
have declared DRM unbreakable?
