Massachusetts Steels Thunder
You have to notice that the NYT isn't making much of this Vista Event and doesn't even mention that Longhorn (the "server version of Vista") and Excange 7 are part of the deal. I am looking for any kind of comment regarding the Novell/Microsoft marriage and do find that a reletively new executive at Novell (which is Massachusetts based) has been named to take charge of the Microsoft 350,000 distribution of (and payment for) SUSE Linux. Massachusetts is also making news with the $150 PC for the third world and the NYT online version is currently carrying that story.

Massachusetts is the state that lost several Chief Information Systems officers owing to Microsoft influence-peddling and likely payback for the state's role in the last US antitrust case. They were the last state to hold out. It appears that technology is quite advanced in the state and folks knew what they were saying about illegal use of monopoly power.

In any case, development companies who are purchasing Vista (and those businesses are about the only ones who will be doing so at this time) really need to also get in on the Microsoft 350,000 distribution of Novell technology.
