Yes a new version of Exchange is coming, but what the article
leave out is it will go head-to-head with the next version of
Lotus Notes codenamed Hannover.

The next version marks a big investment in the Notes platform
and will accelerate it's cross-platform adoption given it's
support for Linux and Mac OS X.

MS will accelerate in the SME's (thanks to continued restrictions
on interoperability specifications), but expect big things in other
markets.
