I'm not aware of any significant ownership. Microsoft did contribute money to Apple to help bail them out (probably to keep "some" competition to help in anti-trust) during a financial crisis. Microsoft also makes money off sales of office.

In either case though the motivation for MS to cooperate with Apple is getting less and less. It doesn't need Apple as a competitor anymore because of Linux. And Apple's share in the overall PC market has been slipping so comparitively they aren't making that much off of Office for the Mac.
