Kudos To Apple
I've never used one, but the impression I've gotten from a lot of folks who know more about computers than I do, is that Apple is more about quality and doing things right the first time, while MS seems to be more concerned with market domination.
That being said, I think it was probably a good business decision by Apple to give Real the cold shoulder.
All of my experiences with Real's software have been disappointing to say the least, even the deluxe version of RealPlayer was a pain in the butt. Every time I try to play a multimedia file in Real format, I encounter problems.
I'd say it's probably a good idea for Apple to resist associating itself with a company of such standards.
