Argh ; same meal deal as UC Berkeley

Nuisance law suits like those Microsoft continues to bring to the highest levels should get the legals that support them disbarred.

Lets make certain those legals know what happened to their counter parts at HP. When things are obviously wrong - like identity theft - like patent theft; the legals that support criminal minded management also get held accountable. Microsoft should have paid UC Berkelely for the code stolen to present active-x and applets in its browser. It should also pay up in this case. Changing the approach is not a remedy.

The unfortunate outcome of Neukom's look-and-feel case with Apple has perhaps fostered this bad behavior. Neukom, current head of the American Bar Association, has done more harm to the IT industry and polite society than any other Microsoft executive, including Ballmer. It was Neukom who hired Abramoff to create the culture of corruption in the US federal government that was necessary to get Microsoft off of the last US antitrust case.

These are big deals for relatively small amounts of money because they protect Neukom, Neukom's reputation, and Neukom's buddy Smith who now has his old job at Microsoft. In the mean time Neukom chairs the same firm that trained Abramoff, Preston Gates and Ellis and makes ABA ethics the ethics of criminals. Why is it ethical to put a person under oath when the corporate legal officer knows that persion is going to or is likely to lie? This is the thinking of a mobster. Our courts are not for any kind of lier. It is not ethical in polite society to put known liers on the stand under oath any more than it is to steel identities to find board leaks.

Let it stop please.
