It Just Doesn't Work
I'm all for looking into MS alternatives for business purposes. I've used StarOffice and OpenOffice.org and tried many versions of Linux. Each product has its own pros and cons. So I went to the Ability web site and downloaded the free demo. I installed the app along with the the spell checker and import/export filters. It seemed to run fine but when I tried to open a document created in Word, it just gave me a blank page. I tried several documents and had the same results.

I did try their spreadsheet program and it seemed to work.

It looks nicer than OpenOffice.org but that is a major flaw on my first install. Thanks for trying out, maybe next year.
