3 out of 4 courts don't speak English!
Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxemborg do not have English either as their native or official language. In all three countries the English words "Windows" is as made up as the made up word "Lindows(OS)". In non-English speaking countries both words have equal lingistic standing: None, except as imagined words for trademarks. In the non-English speaking world; they would cause consumer confusion.

Not that I'm saying the appeals court won't overturn on a technicality; I'm ambivalent as to whether they will or not. What I am saying is that the standard is different in forign countries. This is what your inference misses, No_Axe.

I honestly expect that Lindows.com will continue to call their product LindowsOS in the English-speaking world, because in those countries Microsoft would probably not prevail instantly.
