Not exactly, it just proves that it COULD return inconsistent results. I think you are right in saying that education is a lifetime experience when done right but that doesn't mean that theory is superiour to the applied.

There probably is a good reason why there are no truely relational databases. It's probably very hard to get a working model. If it were easy and if it delevered all the pro's you describe we would already have a truely relational database. It's like with the object relational databases. A promising concept but apearantly not that easy to apply. What do you propose? Sittingen around not using databases untill someone comes with a working fully relational database?
