Don't get too comfortable
Your contempt for due process is quite astounding - though only to be expected based on your past performance.

The commission has already raised the daily rate by 50%, they clearly intend to keep raising it until MS finally complies. Maybe it will get to the stage that someone at MS is held personally responsible for failure to comply with a court order.

Two and a half years is a long time to take to document APIs that should already have been documented. If MS really do need 3 years or so to do the job when they wrote, and have full access to, the code, it highlights the difficulties of others trying to reverse-engineer them without the source.
