freedom of speech
I absolutely believe in everyone's freedom of speech.
I also absolutely believe that no one has a right to force their message down anyone else's throat.
In other words, if I don't want stupid popups or banner ads or whatever, I have a right to block it. If I don't like what you are saying, I can argue back or leave. If I don't like a radio or tv show or movie, I don't have to watch it (and I certainly appreciate the rating system for giving me an idea of what to expect).

If people are getting popup blockers in droves; that should be a clue.
If millions sign up for a do not call list; that should be a clue.
If people don't want to buy into your political, religious, environmentalist, racial, or anti-religious swill, it is their god-given, inalienable right.
