Nope Java becomes a Sun GPL Project
Much like php or Apache both of which have Microsoft extensions. The fact is that nothing will get into Java with going through an approval process. Now, if Microsoft were to use some of the Java source code to make up their version of the JVM then Microsoft is required by the GPL to release the source code for their version of JVM. The fact is that GPL code doesn't appear to damage a product but causes it to achieve deeper market penetration.
