You obviously didn't read the article either. This is not a matter of opinion, it's just fact:

Right after the title, in boldface, it reads: "Sun Microsystems is trying to climb back into the market for Java server software ".

And in the third paragraph, again: "...Sun is hoping to regain some market share"

There is no ambiguity. Why would anyone read the article and then post a message to announce that Java is alive and well? There is no relation between the two topics.

And there's no Ad Hominem in my reply: that's a term you can apply when someone uses personal and mostly irrelevant facts about someone else in order to prove him/her wrong. I just stated the fact that anyone reading the original article cannot possibly think it has to do with Java's market share. And then I provided an explanation as to why that's so. That is NOT Ad Hominem.
