Well, the title is ambiguous, which makes this open to subjective interpretation... Since opinions (by definition) can never be proven "wrong", both your opinion and the first responder's opinion are valid.

An opinion, however, can be "wrong" when it is launched as an personal argument, or creates hasty generalization towards someone else (aka "ad hominem" fallacy).

Example:

"You obviously didn't read the article."
