You are doing it right, really no big business case for switching to Linux

on the desktop for right now, unless you have a lot of fixed funcion desktops like for hotel desks, call centers, etc. Better to stick with Windows and use OpenOffice to cut costs. The cost of the basic OS is neglidgable compared to the office suite. Good luck with your transition . . . .
