Yes, the next thing will be support someplace cheap because price is what they are selling. No one cares about quality no more, it is nothing but how much it is going to cost. The whole service model will be the end of any distro company, they have enjoyed riding the wave, just now it has come ashore.

Offshoring Linux call centers will be the next big deal, those skills are getting cheaper and they will not need anyone in the United States like they did in the past. You cannot compete selling services that are twice the price longterm, because anyone else can do it.

Microsoft has the best model for surviving long-term, RedHat is going defense mode by trying to ignore the empire collapsing around them.
