Red Hat sour grapes pact by pouring it's own sugar
and drinking it's own Kool-Aid. Don't get me wrong, Redhat was the first and only distro I looked at for industry standardization to promote and bring Linux to the masses (not just the enterprises), but come off of it Redhat, you may advertise more than the Joe average Linux distro does, but if MS does the deal in the right way, you could see erosion of name status and enterprise standing, and no matter of "a win for Linux" will cover you bottom line losses. Not to say that it would happen, but whatever wine you're knocking back hopefully isn't fermenting your brains to think that it's a win for yourselves (unless you believe MS will be buying up and shutting down Novell soon.)

Maybe Red Hat can ink a deal with Apple and have a feel good press moment as well. Then they really can hit the sauce.
