You think they force open source developers to work?

Get real.

OSS developers do their thing because they like it. They enjoy coding. Commercial developers do their thing because it puts food on their plate and a roof over their heads. OSS devs decide not to do the work, it doesn't bother them. Commercial devs decide not to do the work and they're out on their ass.

Now who's the slave?
