Please make up your mind. Are we going to talk about Unix v. Windows or Unix v Dos or OSX v. Windows.

Now is Unix harder to learn than DOS? Yes although both were hard for an inexperienced user to use. Was Unix harder to learn than Windows? Yes it was. Is OSX any harder than Windows I have no idea. I have never tried it so I can't say.

Now is OSX more secure than Windows, again since I have not used it I can only make general statements, but I will say that I would not be surprised if it was. It is based on BSD and from what I have heard, if that is set-up correctly, it is a very secure system.

Of course any OS, I don't care what it is, is only as secure as the administrator allows it to be and how well the user follows security procedures.
