That's easy!
Because by default Windows allows you to run as
root, or as they say in the Microsoft camp,
Administrator! Microsoft DOES NOT WARN YOU ABOUT
THE DANGERS OF RUNNING AS ADMINISTRATOR!

Generally (early versions of Lindows is the
exception I am aware of) Linux and *BSD DO NOT
AUTOMATICALLY LOG YOU IN AS ROOT!

And they even provide very nice and clear
WARNINGS that running as root can be dangerous
to your PC's health! And to NOT run as root but
if ROOT privaledges are needed, to use su (sux
for SuSE) to perform the one task!

If you want I can get the exact error message
that SuSE 9.0 Pro yells at you for logging in as
root. Oh and another thing Linux distros will do
is the background is red with exploding bombs
for the ones that need visual re enforcement.
