Mike Cox and his split personalities
I find it interesting that you would suggest that "Actually I believe LD and Mike Cox are one in the same person." I have often thought that Mike Cox's "rep" is actually LinuxGeek. I have serious reservations as to the mental stability of many ZdNet posters. However, I am not inclined to think Mike is brilliant. Mike, his imaginary rep, and the invisible rabbit they hang out with, seem stuck in the same schtick, over and over. The same, pseudo-serious support of MS that very thinly veils his non-stop cynicism. Once might have been funny, 10 times mildly amusing, perhaps, but after the 100'th time, the stand-up routine is getting old. Mike, I'd like to suggest something to you: for a refreshing change, drop the attempts and humor, cynicism and attach, and just tell us in plain English what's on your mind, and convince us that you have serious, well-though-out views that are worth sharing with others.
