Or, Sun HW running Windows?

Sun sold more boxes last quarter than it ever has in its history because it came out with the x86 based servers in a big way. Sun sells HW, that's where their dollars come from. They already sell Solaris and Linux on X86, and Solaris on SPARC and made sure LINUX and BSD run well on SPARC.

Not a big leap to see MS make Sun a sweetheart deal to put Windows on its x86 servers, and maybe even allow them to port Windows to SPARC.

In anycase, Sun needs to develop Windows expertise if its Orion Enterprise Managemnt strategy is going to pay off - Sun has done stranger things in the past (like kill the first power user PC, the Sun386i).
