Rep will have reVENge on ZEND...
My rep called me and told me to ignore this press release. He said this is all part of the "embrace, extend, extinguish" paradigm that has helped revolutionize computing as we know it. My rep said the goal is to work with ZEND and then have reVENge by filing lawsuits once Microsoft finds some evidence that ZEND took ideas from ASP.NET 3.0 (which I am under NDA with and cannot discuss except to say IT RULES!). A few of my MCSDs were excited about using PHP when they saw this, so I immediately fired them to remind everyone we will use ASP.NET for everything, even if it takes longer and costs more.
