Better than most
I've installed a lot of Linux distros and always had problems with dependecies or trying to get something to work. I've installed Dapper Drake twice on two machines and it just works. One machine is 2 months old and bang up to date with hardware etc, the other is a 7 year old 633mhz, 256MB RAM with onboard graphics. Not a problem at all on that one.

I really liked Red Hat and Fedora, but couldn't for the life of me get things working.

I installed Ubuntu with the Gnome desktop and then installed the KDE one and it's fine. Nothing broke. happy
