What are you talking about?

I do not like Ubuntu because it only has Gnome desktop manager, you need Kubuntu for KDE or you can try to install it and have a mess of dependencies.

What do you mean here? Kubuntu and Ubuntu are the [url=http://www.kubuntu.org/faq.php#fork]same distro[/url], but there are different install discs depending on which desktop mgr you want to start with. If you have ubuntu installed, all you have to do is install the kubuntu package (sudo apt-get install kubuntu), and apt does the rest. This assumes you really want to use both desktops, and not just SW designed for both.
