Linux start-up takes path to profits
Still not a good viable business plan. It didn't work for Red Hat and it didn't work for Novell's Suse and it won't work for Ubuntu. Ubuntu is just this month's flavor of distro. Next month a new distro will be out to replace it. And how are you supposed to get revenue during that 5 years while waiting for the current contracts to expire? This whole business model is going to flop and I'll be right here saying "I told you so."
