Justices do take gifts
While Supreme Court Justices are appointed for life and do not raise money for themselves (or the political parties that they identify themselves with), but they do take gifts. It is not unusual for Justices to take golf, tennis or hunting trips offered by various corporations, lobby groups or individuals. Expensive gifts and sometimes even cash is offered and excepted by the Justices. (for example, Justice Thomas reported accepting gifts valued at more than $40,000 in the first 10 years of his appointment).

I have no reason to believe that Microsoft has ever attempted to sway the opinion of the Supreme Court. However, it might be possible that the Justices wouldn't mind meeting, and even becoming friends with the world's wealthiest man.
