Earth to Adobe
Earth to Adobe.....Earth to Adobe......Earth to Adobe....this is mission control.

You are veered into a black hole, and nobody can see your position anymore. Increasingly, the people who support your mission are beginning to lose confidence in you; your performance seems to be that of a company that doesn't have a clue.

Nothing that adobe does will matter until the company begins to talk to regular consumers who are not extremely technical. I asked everybody I can at Adobe to identify their most important market. Without variation; they always reply -- designers, desktop publishes, computer graphic and art specialists. Hello! What about educators? How many teachers use Power Point that would instantly use Captivate if it were fixed? How many new desktop video and movie producers would be using Flash Media Server if it were actually supported? The media server used to come with components and sample apps, now it does not. Backwards.

Until Adobe makes an effort to reach educators, non-technical video producers and others who are currently locked out of the "we're too good for you" clique -- don't buy their products.

It is a quality issue, an issue of documentation (of lack thereof) and an issue of serving the largest and most significant part of their market (teachers). Boycott Adobe. They have their heads shoved into the ground.
