As is the case with all the closed formats, the "books" will be restricted and locked down to prevent "piracy." In other words, the MPAA/RIAA dream of "loaning" the content to the consumer and controlling what is done with it. Want to stuff it into your Palm? "Mother may I?" "No." Want to move it to your upgraded machine? "Mother may I?" "No."
