why not Intel Linux? Intel is the largest contributor to the Linux open source project. They know the most about multi core multi processor Intel computers. Microsoft must be sweating peanuts that Intel could do so.
Oracle has its own oracle file system. I suspect Amazon.com uses it. It probably wouldn't be hard to build an operating system from there. But it would not be Linux. What is Windows 2000 but a file system and gui? On a similar note.
