It always seemed counterintuitive given that Apple is actually the majority in the creative market


... If you are suggesting that the flash player should get priority on the Mac because that's where the developers are (which I doubt anyway); well how does that make sense? Shouldn't the Flash player be most optimised for the people VIEWING the content, not developing it?

And even assuming that the developers ARE mostly on Macs (HA!) it seems to me that they'd spend more time optimizing their work to play efficiently if their development environment forced them to; after all, if their animations played well on their own optimized players, they may not even realize it's running like a dog on the 95% of the machines that are running Windows (if it were the other way around).
