Yes, free support
If you read what I said - "a world of free support" i was referring to the endless world of Microsoft online support along with thousands of forums. There has never been an issue I've not been able to nail online and quickly with Windows. Which is not very often, but it does happen.
As for the lifetime of use, when I buy a MS OS I know it will be relevant for most of a lifetime. They are the greatest at looking out for the customers old and new. Not like Apple who switches OS and drops support on a whim. (they took a huge step backward if you ask me).
I just mean that I can use it for a lifetime, as in IT lifetime w/o worrying about what's changed or if it's still compatible with all the other windows machines out there. You never have to worry about that and you get a company that isn't going to change direction, fork or fold in the first few years.
