Did MS say "millions per business"??? I didn't read that.

"If Americans switch to efficient hybrid vehicles, it will save billions of dollars per year" doesn't mean any particular individual will save that much.

Businesses saving millions is an aggregate statement.

So, if you have 100-mllion pcs w/ Vista, and 10% of them sleep at night (not all will), that will save businesses, in aggregate, c. $700-million per year.

It's basic math and basic English.

Now, on the other hand, I've used Vista (beta 2 and RC 1) sleep functions, and they sometimes work and sometimes don't. Plus, I usually set my comps to do AV scans, disk defrags, etc., during the night. Can't have the machine sleep if I want to get those done. So, I agree this is an overstated benefit, but I disagree with your take on why it is.
