Last person to die of starvation in the US probably died minutes ago.

Do you honestly think there is no starvation in the US? Tell that to those who live on the streets with no food. Tell that to those poeple living in shanti town under that bridge being pushed out by police on a daily basis.

No one likes to be poor but at least in china they have food. Not like in the US where farmers are pushed off the land by corporations where they have no choice but to live in as a statistic on the streets of some big city. Once you lose you home is all down hill from there.

Back some 10 years ago I experienced poverty first hand. Not knowing where my next meal would come from and going with out food for days on end. One thing I learned is I can eat almost anything, I may not like it but I can eat it.
