New technology and the future
Presently the entire tech industry is undergoing a rapid change. Gone are the days of lets move forward with the latest and greatest software. In today's world, it is how much does it cost to upgrade, does it work, and will it affect the user environment. I believe Microsoft is competing in this market extremely well; they have improved their software and thinking ahead into the future. With the next release of Windows on the way, the future looks bright for Microsoft and the new applications they are developing.
