It was before and again
A few years ago I lost all data on two external FireWire
drives from Western Digital on B&W G3. Western Digital
made own investigation and (as they told me) they proved
that it was Apple?s fault with Apple drivers for Apple
FireWire. Apple resolved the issue. Now it happened again.

How many troubles Mac has? Just a few examples:

OS X 10.1.5 is faster than 10.2.8 ($129 worth)?

If you work for many hours ? OS 10.2.8 is significantly
slows down your Mac and you have to restart your Mac if
you work with memory-hungry applications. (To say the
truth ? 10.2.8 is a bit faster than 10.2.6 but slower than
10.1.5)

LCD iMac 800Mhz, 756 RAM, 2002 model: If I just open
Adobe Photoshop 7 and Illustrator 10 with a file 29.9 MB ?
the system become very slow (as well as the applications).

LCD iMac 800Mhz, 2002 model cannot be booted from any
OS 9 CD including Apple Retail OS 9 CD except the CDs
that came with the system (iMac).

It just does not recognize non-system (non-iMac) CDs on
the restart (holding Shift during the restart does not help).

Two Mac-towers can be booted with the OS 9 CDs, but the
LCD iMac cannot do this.

Apple claims Apple is not guilty (but God?) and you have to
erase you hard drive (!!!!!!!!), reinstall OS X and bring you
iMac to a technician because for no reason Apple cannot
check it on Apple headquarters (= Apple cannot insert
Apple OX 9 Retail CD in the same iMac model and restart
iMac holding Shift, therefore, you should go to hell).

It means that you should waist a few hours on the trip, live
without iMac for a week, then get it back with the same
problem and then to spend a couple days to reinstall
everything you have had before).

This is insane.

I guess that?s the reason of why Mac users must pay
premium. (LOL)

Bill Gates can give up (temporarily) money in order to get
market and then to return what he invested. S. Jobs ? never.
That?s why Bill Gates has what he has but Apple has only
3% of the market.

Support 3% Apple?s business model if you wish ...

But you can demand a better existence ? for less money
