that is fine but...
If I buy a new PC for whatever it costs... basically I have paid full price to run XP.... how many people will then go back and purchase a new operating system when they just bought XP ? If the life of a PC is typically 3-4 years in that span of time you are going to spend, what $200 for two different operating systems ? Personally I would just run XP until it is time to buy a new PC.. XP is good enough...
Maybe what MSFT should do is for every PC bought from Dec. 1st on give them a coupon for half off a Vista license.
