Good for research
I find this a type of pressure to compete, not for the providers, rather experimenters. What may/likely come out of it, is a cheaper, faster access and bandwidth solution, because as the govt. and business community, get to the point they think they have a captive money market, things abruptly change, due to the impetus of gouging. Corporate America is not driven by customer satisfaction, rather pressure from stockholders for more profit, plus the size of very large companies causes them to take on a pseudo Artificial Intelligence of their own, not controllable by any one person, or small group of people, always at some point requiring intervention by competitors, or govt. to halt their drive to take and take, and can alter the whole of the societies outlook or even morals in some cases, such as the music industry. If the issue of increased prices is not regulated, the baby bells at some point will price themselves out of the market
