How would you like to buy the bridge I am selling?
Apparently you missed something because you are attacking the previous poster. Read this report again and then tell me you believe there wasn't a problem with the computer systems.

http://zdnet.com.com/2100-1105_2-5185457.html

"The Security Working Group believes that its investigation, which included interviews, telephone transcripts, and law enforcement and intelligence information, gave it a complete picture of what happened. However, the working group decided not to analyze the logs of network devices, firewalls and intrusion detection systems, which could have given further evidence of any network attacks that coincided with the outage."
Why didn't the investigators check the computer logs? Incriminating evidence in the logs maybe?
I don't think I would believe the IT admins responsible for the systems if they told me it wasn't their fault. I wonder what happened to the "poor schmuck" who "went to lunch" and left the alarm system disabled.
Some poor lower level employee probably lost his job because the IT admin wouldn't admit they didn't patch thier garbage.
Do you really believe the powerful utility companies would admit the blackout was their fault? Do you think for one second the IT admin would admit his lack of security caused the problem?
The only thing this "third party" investigated was how honest the IT staff is. Checking the logs would have sold me, I just see another cover up. Wake up and stop being so niave!!!
