- When my rep gave me the heads up on this, I was thrilled. We were not thinking of utilizing this technology but now I almost feel compelled to deploy it here, at least as a way to keep track of supplies in our supply closet. We can put in smart card readers to the supply doors and then know EXACTLY who is taking what and at what time. This will allow us to create .NET apps to charge back to different departments. I see ROI happening in weeks and TCO going through the floor. I am about to sign an NDA and see some PowerPoints around this. Not a day goes by without some form of pure innovation from Microsoft.
