Will linux ever stop failing, maybe soon
Consider this as I'm telling it as a matter of fact, not as I envision it. If China goes the way of it's government which is using some version of linux, then Windows will no longer be the leading or most used OS. China has the population, technology, environment to develop, use, promote and manufacture all the hardware, software and related equipment to actually build it's own version of linux based PC's with all hardware and software options available to Windows. If you doubt what I'm saying, keep in mind, China answers to nobody for anything it does within it's own borders and is free to market anything it likes.
MS cannot protect it's software licensing within it's borders nor can it wave it's big stick or threaten anyone with it's strong arm tactics as they'll simply tear it off and send MS home with a note not to come back. If any of this sounds like fantasy, please tell me what part as MS has left it's big stick at home and offering their products at fire sale prices within China's borders. How about a PC with Windows for $ 3 bucks each which MS makes up for by selling us the same software less the computer for up to $ 400. I'm so glad MS is thinking of us aren't you ?
