Sadly mistaken but also correct
When you say the world uses Windows, you are mistaken, as the world implies everyone, everywhere and that is a big error on your part as many governments like China, France and others use some version of Linux, which ones, I don't know but regardless of version, it is a fact. Now with regards to your comment on the vast majority, you are correct but for some very serious reasons, like 3rd party software and hardware driver support which is costly to developers so they don't make the same products available to all OS's. I've been a long term supporter of MS windows since MS Dos but XP was my last supported Windows as I can no longer agree to the terms and conditions of MS Windows not to mention the activation, reactivation and validation procedures are more than what I want to deal with. I agree MS has the right to protect their software but not on my time and not at my expense so until they change the way they secure their software, I'll no longer be supporting MS.
