Frustrated?
Ever seen the Laurel & Hardy short about moving a piano? Received an Academy Award, though I think it more a lifetime achievement selection.

My favorite moment is when someone at the bottom of the very long, steep set of steps calls to them. Laurel descends for a long time. Shouts back up, "He says he wants to see the other monkey."

After many repeated pulls up that endless hill the piano finally arrives. But this proves only that the inside of a house provides a more vivid set of disasters.

Watching Linux advance and decline has similarities, though the Laurel & Hardy movie would not have been as much fun if (like Linux) the piano rarely made it past the first few steps, and the personalities of Linux providers and advocates can't match Stan & Ollie.

Still, if your standards for comedy aren't high, there's amusement in Linux distributions.
