And good riddance...
Any Sun exec who as a problem with this Microsoft settlement should get out of dodge. My rep and I were celebrating this settlement victory the other day and started going through a list of Sun's executives and marked down who would resign and when. It is like an NCAA style pool, except the stakes are much higher. At risk is the future of the industrialized world and Windows is the linchpin of that world. Execs who can't see out of the box need to go. Look at me: 5 years ago I managed a team of Solaris admins. This new "software guy" in town came up to see me and converted me to Windows. Today, my rep and I have made history by bringign about Great Moments in Office History while lowering TCO and raising ROI through the roof.
