It's all their own fault that millions steal their music. Now that's a real justification, if I ever hear one.

Would you go ahead and point me to just a few of those people by those real smart people? You do recognize, don't you that claiming the other guy is a boogy man hardly gives "customers" the right to steal? Jack Valenti (who I'll thank you has done more for people in poor nations while directing the Peace Corps and is certainly not the ogre you paint) has nothing to do with the music industry. He is president of the MPAA, motion picture association. The VHS issue was litigated in the courts and a decision was made. Copies for personal use and time-shifting were permitted, distribution was not. The file-sharing issue has been litigated too and each court has declared it illegal, to date.

Actually, your mindless post to this "clueless person" failed to recognize black and white, much less deal with it in these "important shades of gray". Let me spell it out in more detail for you. Theft is black and not theft is white. I certainly fail to see your gray in it.
